Boonkruer “Kua” Dickson 1936 – 2022
STAFFORD – Boonkruer “Kua” Dickson was born in Pakthongchai, Thailand on October 9, 1936. She passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, February 28, 2022. She grew up in Pakthongchai and contributed to the business of silk of his family. . She then started a catering service. She met her 51-year-old husband in Thailand and moved to the United States where they married in 1971 in Temple, Texas, then raised a family in Stafford, Kan. She worked for many years at Leisure Homestead in Stafford. She continued to cook her delicious food and sell him many canned produce and vegetables from her amazing garden at local farmers markets. She will always be known for her infectious laugh, warm smile and spicy personality.
Kua was preceded in death by her grandparents; Parents; and siblings. She is survived by her husband Rodney; daughter, Seangduen (Bob) Soule, son, Prasan “Bot” Meechiakum, son, Robert (AnnaMaria) Dickson, and daughter, Tuanua (Josh) Swartz; grandchildren, Anthony, Kimberly, Lindsay (Scott), Vincent (Robert), Heylie (Ahmed), Brandon (Demi), Mattelyn, Jackson, Makayla and Elizabeth; great-grandchildren, Siynatee, Antonio, Greyson, Isabella, Lucas, Lennon, Xaidyn, Alice and Rainbow; and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
His nephews Saylath and Vonlobe Souphanh will lead the family to a traditional Thai funeral. Visiting: Thursday, March 3, 2022 and Friday, March 4, 2022 from 2 to 4 p.m. Traditional Buddhist funeral: 1:30 p.m., Saturday, March 5, 2022, all at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S.
