This job has a screening component that will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Candidates who do not obtain a minimum of two points on the selection element(s) will be declared ineligible. The screening element for this position is: ABILITY TO DO THE JOB WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION Experience installing, modifying, overhauling, maintaining, troubleshooting, updating software and repairing electronic equipment Knowledge of electronic theory, equipment, installation and repair of components and/or test benches mentioned above. Ability to operate a wide range of complex troubleshooting, test and repair equipment for electronic systems. Ability to read electrical circuit diagrams, blueprints and schematics. Ability to use hand and power tools for electronic work. Ability to use various computer systems, programs and forms including Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS), Naval Aviation Maintenance Deviation Reporting Program (NAMDRP ), Advanced Skills Management (ASM) Candidates must meet the requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Professional Qualification Manual for Trades and Professions.
