Fun with flair: churches offer fall activities

Masked volunteers greet a guest disguised as Darth Vader at Brookville Road Community Church’s Harvest Hoedown in 2020. The church’s carnival-style event was converted to a candy ride in 2020 to promote social distancing . Organizers plan to hold this year’s event in the backyard of the church and bring some of the traditional inflatables and games back to Hoedown in recent years.

HANCOCK COUNTY – From indoor mini golf and barrel train rides to biblically-themed car trunks, local churches offer more than heaps of candy at many of their fall events.
