Self-care: why it’s important

The purpose of the session is to explain the importance and benefits of personal care, and how everyone can practice it. We will use the six dimensions of well-being (social, emotional, intellectual, physical, professional and spiritual) as the foundation for a holistic and balanced life. Each participant will complete a self-care assessment that includes all six dimensions.
Mental health first aid

Mental Health First Aid training helps a person without clinical training to help a person experiencing a mental health crisis. Mental health rescuers learn a 5-step strategy for assessing and supporting a person in crisis. Taking this training can help you feel more confident and ready to help a friend, colleague or loved one in need.
