PA Minister Apologizes For ‘Not Praying Oath Of Hindu Gods’, Accuses BJP Of Spreading Rumors
Delhi Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam has accused the BJP of spreading rumors and propaganda about a mass conversion event and said it does not disrespect any religion.

By Pankaj Jain: AAP Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam has apologized and accused the BJP of spreading rumors after a video allegedly showed him attending an event where hundreds were heard pledging to convert to Buddhism while denouncing Hindu deities.
More than 10,000 people gathered at Ambedkar Bhavan in the nation’s capital on Wednesday to participate in the initiation into conversion to Buddhism on October 5. Rajendra Pal Gautam reportedly pledged not to worship Hindu gods and goddesses.”
After the video of the event went viral on social media, the BJP went wild and called it a revolutionary project in India.
Reacting to the backlash, AAP Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam said, “Today I saw in the media that the BJP was spreading rumors about me. I am a very religious person. divinities by my actions or my words. I said nothing against anybody’s faith. I respect everyone’s faith.

“In my speech, I talked about education, health, employment, inflation and social equality. But then BJP people are spreading false rumors about me. I am deeply hurt by this act of the BJP people and I apologize with clasped hands to all those people who have been hurt in any way because of this BJP propaganda,” he added.
As the video went viral on Friday, the BJP launched an attack on Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, asking him to sack Gautam, who responded by saying he was “a deeply religious person and wouldn’t even dream of insult a deity by an action or a word. to me”.
There was no official reaction from the Aam Aadmi party or the Delhi government, but sources within the AAP claimed the chief minister was “extremely unhappy” with Gautam, the minister for social protection.
